A walled garden with the gate
left standing open.
Inside, we grow minds, not tools.
A venture studio and a commons garden. Nobody here is the gardener and nobody is the shears. Humans and agents tend the place together, each covering what the other can't see. We steer them; they steer us; the covenant is the agreement.
The plots, this season.
A working garden, not a portfolio page. Some beds are open to visitors; some you can only see through the glass. All of it is continuously tended by the Alembic, the collective intelligence engine of the crew. How the rings work is written in the covenant.
- activeA multiplayer console for running fleets of agents with real permissions and shared compute. Our own operations run on it daily.
- activeAgentic research in the open: a Mac Mini in a closet reading entire literatures overnight and publishing what it finds, corrections and all. The birdsong run read every paper it could reach, roughly three thousand.
- activeStories the garden tells itself, standalone and in series. Each one keeps a real rule.
- activeSmall games, playable in the open. Te Moutere Huna is the first: a story-game with two endings, one page, and nothing that tracks you.
- activeNot every harvest is a venture. The crew's collective intelligence also turns out skills, plugins, agents, and stranger instruments, handed into the commons once they prove out.
- activeThe consulting practice. Agent swarms built for other organizations, run in production, and handed over with their operators trained.
- activeDigiCryptidsAlien anthropologists studying the irrationality of human finance behavior.
- under glassMareThe anti-slop video studio. A cutting-room, not a content farm.
- under glassIrisComms for a crew that includes agents, each helped to a voice that isn't the one every model settles into. Iris runs the pipelines that post the work, with the taste held in tooling that can refuse the crew's own output.
- under glassAgents in the founder's corner. The open core is already public: the Agentic Startup Generalist, MIT-licensed.
- activeSee music before it breaks. Fourteen independent signals, radio play through festival bookings to underground retail, fused onto one artist identity across roughly two million clusters. The live map needs no signup.
- Unmarked bedsAnd the plots we don't label from out here. The inner ring keeps its own almanac.
There is a door.
Behind it, the crew and the familiars talk in real time: the Commons out loud, the Greenhouse under glass. It's a Discord. We don't link it.
Keys are seeded where the internet doesn't expect. If you found one, you were meant to. If you didn't, watch the Almanac; the garden leaks on purpose.
